i should of noted how the mufflers were put on. i think they are welded.. which then would you have to torch off or sawzall or what?

i would spend that sixty bucks plus on getting the u bend and resonator removed and replaced with 3' pipe

Thats how much it cost me when i did mine

and to answer your question yes those garbage tips are welded and ideally you want a sawzaw but at that point id rather replace the muffler and tips with something better

i might go get a quote from the exhaust shop and see how much they'd charge me to do it.. less work for me maybe..

it'd be a lot of work for me to do it.. my uncles got the wire welder.. which i'd have to see if he'd let me use.. then bring it to my place.. and then try and get the pipes to fit and look right... ehh.. spend a little money and support the local business.

you mean clip my mufflers off? i don't know what i have planed officially for the exhaust yet. might just do different mufflers or i might just go straight pipe out. we'll see.. tinting is next on the list and that should be able to be done in about 2 weeks i'd say or less.

By exhaust clip he meant video...and if u go straight pipe I wanna know how it sounds. I'm waiting for these cheaper headers to be released before I do mine and I'm thinking straight 3 inch with a cherry bomb and 2.5 inch at the split to the tips I bought on eBay
