arrowhead one? they are actually pressed metal. ive got one sitting around, swiped it at the JY before i know i couldnt just change em lol

been thinking about an overlay since mines flat.

ordered a bunch of swatches from RC. excited for those. so any thoughts on the preventive maintenance? only 2 days till she pulls out of the garage.

so today was kinda failure. i did how ever take the GXP out like i said. took it out after supper and let my brother drive her for about 15 mins and he enjoyed that and then rolled her into the shop and onto the hoist. cleaned up the rims and now starting to second guess myself on whether or not i wanna plastidip them. i bought the dip today too. looked under the car for a little bit and see that the tips are welded on so idk how i'm gonna be able to polish them real good and then me and my brother tag teamed taking the battery out which wasn't terrible and tomorrow i'll put in a new one.

no one in my home town has a damn 25 group battery so napa will have one on tuesday morning so i guess i get to have the car in the shop till then. i still need to paint some engine rails and dip some wheels and other stuff. probably should drop the tranny pan right away.

well i've heard 3 now.. everywhere i called said its a 25. or 75 which is just a side post battery
and the write up i saw said a 35 would fit.. and now youre saying an 85...
well now what...

34 is not the OE battery.

34 larger compared to the factory battery.

Don't know why its so small.

Also that battery tray is covered in acid.

Wash it down and perhaps scrub with baking soda mixed with water. Otherwise it will accelerate corrosion.

I just put a bunch of soda with water and got it all cleaned up and rinsed off and good. and i do see that 85 is the one for the GXP.. hmm.. looks like i'll be calling places around tomorrow to see if they have an 85....

Honestly if you have room for a 34, that's what I'd put in there.

They tend to have higher capacity, and you'll be able to find one right away.

battery will be here tomorrow AM and will be going in then.

i debadged the GM emblems on the sides today too.

wasnt' hard at all to do it. heated it up - fishlined it off - goof off - polished a few times

i need new tips too. tried polishing them and there wasn't much to polish of them..
