• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

'06 scooby 2.5i, stock and sold

Re: my 2006 scoobie

my wallet is always thin. it contains credit cards. i had intentions on spending a bunch in the spring then paying it off throughout the year anyway. i have a time frame to work on which my pay does not allow. ill easily pay it off, it's just a matter of getting it now versus then.

Re: my 2006 scoobie

Woohoo credit cards.

If anyone is wondering I think Jay mentioned it once...the 91 in my name stands for the number of credit cards I have thanks to my WBody.

Re: my 2006 scoobie

lug nuts and hub rings bought as of last night. this is coming together nicely.

things left before IA: my baller rear window decal, tinted windows, possibly wrapping the roof in black, and making an intake. then it's just down to getting all of this stuff installed.

Re: my 2006 scoobie

General is making good tires now, been selling lots at the garage with almost everyone satisfied...very nice work bio, i hope to see all this put together in the near future...although i cant blame you for wanting to wait out the salt...

Edit:
and tell me, have you found any good websites for the STI, in your searching? im trying to decide between an EVO or a STI...its a tough choice

Re: my 2006 scoobie

evo if you want big power, STI if you want a car that drives and feels more 'raw'. evos also sound like butt in comparison to the STI exhaust wise.

i frequent NASIOC, but i dont get involved as much as i could. i just like to read others problems, solutions, and experiments and make my own assumptions on what happens. if you know how clubgp works, NASIOC is pretty damn brutal as well. ask anything that has been asked once...twice, whatever, you'll get reamed.

Re: my 2006 scoobie

well, with the pricing of the evos about ready to blow up, im thinking about going sti...still got another 6 mos before im done college before i make my choice. Just want to research some common issues and how expensive power is to get out of them before i jump...thanks for the reference

not to threadjack, but STi all the way, unless you're looking at a Evo X, then it's all personal preference.

The Evo VII/VIII/IX is much less comfortable and from what I hear they're always breaking if you don't spend serious money on your builds. I've only had my STi for a few days an I absolutely love it.

Re: my 2006 scoobie

there was a evo 8 at the shop i work at, drove it around the building a couple times blah blah well the owner picked the car drove off, the car was flat bedded back he blew a hole in his block and blamed it on us. all we did was put a bumper and hood on it
