06+ impala front brakes

yup, direct bolt on. and they fit under 16s.

you use your stock caliper, the bigger caliper brackets, and the bigger rotor.

I was told the 2000 caliper brackets from a impala work with the stock caliper. I was under the impression the newer style impala had dual piston calipers that were a bolt on also.

Wrong brakes MR. Know it all..
Thats the 2000 Monte brake upgrade that uses the stock calipers and bigger brackets.

He's talking about the 06+ Monte/Impala brakes.
You need the calipers, brackets, pads, rotors. Direct bolt on.

I have this mod, they are pretty awesome for the price.
Find a set of dual piston calipers from a 06+ W-body from ebay or a wrecking yard.
Buy 06+ rotors and brake pads. Install, you slightly bend the brake line to accomodate.
If you get drilled ebay rotors, make sure you get drilled only. I had drilled + slotted and I did not like the feedback. I changed to drilled only and they are much better.

i dont know what im talking about, apparently. i thought they were all the 12" brakes...

time for you to get a w-body again.

get plain rotors, they work the best. drilled are prone to micro cracks, slotted eat a dick in winter.
