• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Kinda bringing this back up!

So I'm looking at replacing my headlights, are the ones off Rock Auto the best for the money?

Also going to do the HomeDepot Lip, and a few other visual things

Plus brake pads and my i think my steering rack is making noise ( clicking back and forth, noise is right in the center)

More than likely strut mount bearings are getting to old. That's how mine felt when I got the car at 70 k replace mounts and was good to go again

Edit also get the headlights off eBay or amazon

As for brake pads, I would stay away from Raybestos Advanced Technology. I put them on all 4 corners with new rotors 6 weeks ago. I went with those because I have always had great luck with Raybestos in the past and they had great reviews. The rears have been fine so far. The right front squeeled like crazy after a couple of days. I pulled them apart and found one of the pads had a large chunk of something copper colored and was starting to put a groove in the rotor. I called Raybestos who told me they don't warranty anything bought through RockAuto. I called RockAuto and they sent me a new set of pads. These were fine for a few days, but the squeeling is back. It is inconsistent. Some days it won't, some days it will. Sometimes under light braking, sometimes only harder braking, and occasionally all the time. I put the same Raybestos Advanced Technology pads on the front of the Z28 at the same time and they have been great. From reading some forums several people with GXP's have had the same problems with these exact pads so I assume it is a bad run or something specific to those pads. I am bout to just order some Delco front pads and throw the Raybestos in the trash.

I have been looking at the RockAuto headlights for mine as well. I was curious the difference in the 3 options. If you order some, let me know what you think of them. I plan on making projectors out of them.
