06 gxp temp gauge not working.

Alright I looked on here for similar issues and couldn't find any that had said how they solved the issue. I have a 06 gxp with 98,000 and the temp gauge is not working. Started off by replacing the temp sensor and that didn't work. Any other ideas? Also I'm getting the a/c off for engine protection because of this I think.
 


Check the piece that plugs into the sensor and wires. I recently had this problem and it was the plug and not the sensor.
 
I had a similar issue. Turned out to be the outside air temp sensor. Located right front behind the grill, connection was loose. Fixed for free!
 
Sorry guys i thought I posted how I fixed this issue. Turned out being corrosion on a battery terminal. After changing the temp sensor and harness that did nothing so I put the old one back in and cleaned the battery terminals. that fixed it right away. Very strange that can cause small issues like that but that's how I fixed it.
