06 GXP HUD problem

My heads up display quit workin on me about a week ago. I did the normal fuse check and the display fuse was fine. i can here the device move up an down when using the control to move it up or down on the windshild.. and stealth mode still activates.. but I have no picture. Any suggestions of where to start trouble shooting would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys
 


Your biggest issue will be getting the trim piece off w/o breaking it. Thing is more fragile than a piece of tissue paper.
 
when i bought mine i had to fix the spring, wasnt to bad of a job. But bill is right, try and be easy with that trim piece. They like to crack out of no where let alone messing with em. Good luck!

QFT. Mines was so brittle from all the years of sitting in the sunbird cracked right away ended up tossing it out and just doing without one but eventually I need to find the p/n and order a new one.
 
That tutorial works like a charm I did it for my gxp. I cracked the covering (very flimsy) all to hell but whatever it works!!!
