06 Grand Prix Manual 5 speed need to bypass park/neutral safety switch

Hey i've come close to finishing a 5 speed swap into my 06 Grand prix GT, I used the getrag 282. Problem now is I need to bypass the park/neutral safety switch so the car will crank. As of now I can't get it to crank, unless of course I jump the starter.
So im looking for a wiring diagram for the 06 because the PRNDL switch is internal and different than the older Grand Prix's of which ive found diagrams for. I even bought a Haynes manual and it covers too many years of the W-body to have my specific needed diagram.
Anybody have such a diagram?
Do I just find the input and output wires intended for the park/neutral safety switch and splice them together? I might actually wire them into the manual transmission too to keep the safety feature.
Thanks

I bypassed it on my drag car because I had a bad switch and I wanted to get it running. My car is a 2001, and I can't remember the difference that the 04+ cars have.

The large purple wire on the starter traces back to the transmission. You need to find the wire going into the transmission from the ignition... it'll be a big 10 gauge wire. Everything else will be much smaller.

Just jump those two wires and you'll be set.

Besides the speed sensor wires, there is one group of wires going to the big plug on the top back of the transmission. All of which are small gauge wires, all the same. The wires you speak of go to the transmission range sensor on the 03 and older Grand Prix's, and they don’t use that in the 04 newer cars. Hence the need for a diagram. I still might grab that purple wire from the starter and follow it, it’s a bigger gauge wire for sure than any wire going to the trans.

Yeah I would follow that wire and see where it goes. If it's not going to the transmission, there must be an external nss someplace. Make sure you post up what you find.

I believe the pcm gets info from the trans range position sensor in order to know it's in P or N in order to start. Very likely you need to ground one of them and the pcm will know it's in P or N, but the other trick will be to have it kick into gear etc once it's started so that you don't have the limiters kick in at the wrong points. Or you could change the limiters.

Is there any risk of harming the PCM by individually grounding each of those wires and trying to start it each time?

I’m trying to upload some schematics I got from a friend at a dealership and ran out of space or something so that I could only upload one so far, maybe someone smarter than me on here can use the schematics to help me figure out how to bypass the switch
