06 Grand Prix GT, turn off dynamic control?

Have a 06 Grand Prix GT. The owners manual talks about turning off dynamic control is GXP, my GT only has button for traction control, is there a way to turn that off?
Attempts at burn outs results in engine throttling down, even with traction control off,

I think that is like stabilitrac but I'd have to google it.

I'd say it's more of the engine torque mngt trying to not let you blow the transmission up. It should still lay some nice elevens down if you have TC and roll into the gas and smash it, but thats if your tires are super sticky and road surface sucks.

in my truck you hit the button to turn of the traction control and then hold it down for 8 seconds to shut the stabilitrac off. not sure if that would hold true for your car or not.
