05 PBM GTO, drag bags installed and some other things

Got around to clay barring and waxing. Thanks to Nick for saving my butt on not being able to find my bar. I also went spoilerless....

And installed BMR drag bags. Wheel hop on these cars is horrendous and this should help a bit next track outing.

Most likely will in the front. The rear however is rubbing due to my low offset wheels even with just 225's on there. I refuse to roll the rears. The fronts have been rolled previously. The bags are a $100 fix versus forking out for coilovers. I can always do pedders drops in the rear and use the bags and adjust ride height accordingly. Every psi in the bag is about .1 inch. I added almost 1.5 inches with just 15 psi in each bag.

BC's are extremely nice. But for the almost 2k price tag I can get just as much if not better handling from the rear investing in just some drop springs and fully upgraded to poly. The independent suspension sucks....

Bc coilovers is what you get when you open a pedders box

i love my independent rear :)

nice find on the gto
Yea lol I looked that up and there was a big fuss over BC building coilovers for pedders and a guy mad that pedders doesn't say it. I'm content with the bags now. My 1-2 shift didn't shudder/hop at all today on the street with around 13 psi on drivers and 15 on the passenger side. It just scratched and hooked.

i kinda lucked out, when i bought my car it already had pedders suspension, the pedders track 2 kit, i get no wheel hop what so ever, no matter what i do, and the car is dead level flying around turns.

the drag bags definitely help
