so buddy of mine is staying at my house till next week tell he goes to b.c and he has been ragging about my car about no torque, and he is correct driving around town partial throttle his car does have more torque, but i just kept saying linem up andlets see.
well yesterday cruising with the windows open after a day of sitting at the beach with my wife, him and his wife were also there in there car so he left beach same time i did.
ANYWAYS cruising at 110(km/h not mph) he comes into the passing lane and i wait for him, well at my rear window i hear his car downshift to 2nd and supercharge start its whine, so i go wot, i immediately pulled half a car on him so was at my back bumper, and kept him their till 180 when i seen his speed limiter kickin, and yes from 160-180 took FOREVER lol but still got their faster then the ssei. his excuse was he wasnt wot, but he admits he was in 2nd so he should of caught me and passed me only being 1/2 a car behind lol
ssei has all new plugs wires etc etc.
Im bugging him everday now to go from a dig with video before he leaves, he is stalling... lmao
 


His limiter isn't until about 200kmh. FWIW with the mods listed in your sig, even stock...he should have been able to take you. Might be true that he underestimated your car and stupidly didn't go wot right away. By then..it was too late. One way for him to prove it would be to get you to race again.

If I were you, I'd leave it alone and smile with your victory.
 
I want to know if he can take my car out from a dig and keep pulling, if I lose (which i thought i would for sure at a high speed race) then Ill admit defeat and have video to prove my lost. I have been bugging him since the race. other then my mods i have the better gear ratio and 300 pounds lighter
and yes kmh not mph
 


LOL @ comment saying coupe is lighter than in fact the sedan is...but keep the race going after 2nd...and the SSEI is gonna pull like a rabid ape.

i wont go past 2nd cause like i said it is deadly slow lols and 100 mph is fast enough i went to 180 km/h for the first time ever in that race lols, i think at that speed the ssei was just getting into 3rd lol
 


Wow fourth to second at 110 eh... I wouldn't even think about doing that lol! I wouldn't even manually drop it to 3rd at that speed, I just hit the go pedal and let it hit warp speed.

i didn't manually shift it, i floored it. 2nd gear goes all the way to 156'sh so why wouldnt you downshift to 2nd? tranny isnt that horrible
 


ya i heard it hitting the limiter, I have the same mods except incar tune running on 91. but my final gear ratio is 3:05. not 3:29 or w/e it is
Dont think the video is coming though.. he is leaving to b.c friday 2am.. hopefully ill hit the drag strip this summer...
