05 GP Gauge Cluster

RegorHtims

Fuel For The Soul
I hope this isn't a duplicate thread but since I've searched and found nothing, here it is lol. So I got an aeroforce gauge about a week ago and installed it. Then a couple of days ago I started the car and it did the gauge sweep and then the gauges all went back to 0 (or cold or empty for temp and gas) and then the TC Off and Low Fuel lights came on on the DIC. So i turned the car off and when I turned it back on it did it again. I tried driving with it like this. The only thing that works is the speedometer (no aeroforce, rpms, etc) Then I turned it off, unplugged the aeroforce, and turned it back on and it was fine. It doesn't do it very often but when it does it won't stop until I unplug the aeroforce. So my question is is it just weird timing that something to do w/ the gauges broke or could the aeroforce gauge have messed something up?

Mine does the same thing once in a great while!!! My solution unplug the aeroforce and drive around after a few restarts like this your gauges will all come back on (atleast it does for me)

Yeah my guess is its something the aeroforce does cause mine only started after using the aeroforce but it didnt last long and only came back after a good few months

My 2004 GTP actually did this to me once when i was doing some extra-heavy cornering BEFORE I installed my aeroforce. I think it was due to the fact of my PCM just hanging out in my air box not strapped down because it did the same thing under heavy cornering a couple days later. After my aerofoce install and PCM tray, I have only seen it once when i hit a HUGE pothole. For some reason I think the gauges go out due to a abrupt shake of the PCM.
