'04 Valve Cover Gasket DIY

Hey,

Could use some insight on an '04 valve cover gasket diy. I've seen some for the older GP models (L36 vs L26) and wasn't sure if they were also relevant. Would a Bonneville or similar model diy be helpful? I'll be doing both gaskets and wanted to know if I need to drain coolant to get access which I've seen on some boards.

Please let me know or pass along some other links, thanks in advance.

Negative.

No fluids have to be drained. I loosened the alternator bracket but didn't remove it. If you yank it out, then you'll have a mess of coolant everywhere, yes.

I just did valve cover gaskets on a supercharged car...with everything on the car minus the belt/alternator and coil pack bracket.
