04+ needle swap, now putting interior back together and the speedo needle is sticking

hey guys i took apart my interior and dash to do the 04+ needle swap and i said heck with it and started putting it all back together after its been a while since, i put the gauge cluster glass on it and while driving the speedo gauge sticks at 25 and i took the glass out and did a test drive and it workedjust fine but i cant find where or hoe its interferring? has anyone had this problem? any advice would be appreicated thanks

If the needles aren't trimmed down, that's the problem from what I remember

okay cool how much is needed to be trimmed off the speedo needle? 1/4" maybe?
