Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Okay it's been a while since I've posted but I have run into a problem. I just changed my caliper on my drivers side of my car. There was nothing wrong with the old caliper except one of the mounting bolts was seized up and I couldn't get it off even with hear. So I went and bought a new caliper, bracket and bolts for it. I put on all the new stuff and new pads with no issues whatsoever.
Now I keep getting air in my lines I go around and blead all of the brakes starting at the farthest from the MC first and working my way to the driversside which is closest. Everything seems to be great until I do the last one and then it all goes to hell and I have air in my lines again. I took it out and test drove it and I kept getting smoke from the passenger side brakes when testing the brakes on a hard stop. I bring it home and both sides are nuclear hot. Couldn't even tough the wheels until they cooled off.
So I then did what any person on the point of being very aggravated would do and I went inside drank a beer and ate some food. After filling my belly with beer and food I go back out and life the car up remove the wheels and start the car without the wheels on it.
I put the car in drive and checked the wheels they turn a bit then hang up and then turn a bit then hang up. So I gave the car a smidge of gas and go out and look still same deal. So I then step down on the brakes to stop the rotors from turning. I then get out of the car as it's still in drive and look. the new rotor I put on isn't turning(drivers side) and the old roter is spinning freely(passenger side) and it still feels like it has air in the lines.
I did use the crush washers on it.
brake line is tight
bleeder screw is tight plus I put thread tape on it.

I'm at a total loss here if someone can make some good suggestions it would be much appreciated.

Is the bleeder screw facing up? I couldnt bleed my f bodies they.kept getting.air in and ended up.putting.them.on the wrong side..just a thought...or that new caliper is bad?

if you let the master cylinder res go dry at any time that could be why. you would now need to bleed the master of air. only way to do this really with out taking it off and bench bleeding it is pump up the brakes like your bleeding a caliper, then crack each line nut free to let the air out, make the line tight let your pedal pumper pal pump the brakes, crack the line again. do this for both lines till no more air comes out. do one at a time of course.

then go re bleed the rest of the brakes again.

I've bled out the brakes multiple times now. Timboku's post did just make me realize that on that caliper the bleeder screw is below the brake line as all the others are above the brake line. I'm now wondering if that's the problem as there is no way to get all air out like that I don't think.

you may have gotten a wrong side caliper then. all bleeders should be on the high side of the caliper of each wheel. so the air can get out.

Yup wrong side caliper.

ya'll have no idea how big of a fit I just threw over this. I got the part from Oreilly auto and I have to say they get it wrong more often than they get it right. Very few auto parts stores within a reasonable distance though so they are kind of the only game in town unless I want to drive 30minutes for the part.

Yup wrong side caliper. Went and got the right one and it took all of fifteen minutes to change out and bleed. Sometimes I just want to kick myself for not paying attention.
