Crank horsepower or wheel horsepower?

How much money you got in your pockets??

Going over 300 to the ground is going to make your transmission fight for it's life if you abuse it. Or one sweet 3-1 downshift will snap the pencil strength input shaft in half.

I bought it off a lot it has headers cold air intake 160 thermostat thicker plug wires

My post still says what you'll likely need. A different camshaft, more boost and more fuel or a different fuel.

Lets break it down, factory is ~260hp crank ish or so, maybe. Then drivetrain loss you are at ~210-220ish, maybe. Your headers and intake might have gained you about 10hp if it's not knocking as bad anymore. But then that 3.4 might have increased the knock, just still added hp, thus maybe gaining you 20-30whp. To gain 80 wheel horse power is going to require more boost and better flowing internals.

Sometimes hard ball is the only way, learning and reading the only way to understand how it's all going to work. It's like school but on the internet with a bunch of dudes living in their parents basement.

Fair warning, don't trust anything you read on the vendors website when they claim horsepower numbers or proper ways to mod a car or stage kits. They are all outdated and junk.

We'll take that as a no.

Order a BAFX OBD2 reader for $23 and buy the Torque Pro app for Android devices for $6.00, that will be the best $30 you will ever spend. If you have an Iphone like I have then but an android device like a cheap tablet from a pawnshop or something.

Yes you need to scan for Knock Retard (KR). Modifications may cause the engine to knock. The PCM will retard the timing to help but the engine may blow up. Things like a cam, rockers, and exhaust improvements will help reduce knock. Things like smaller pullies and increased timing may cause more knock. That is why you need to do the different things together while keeping an eye on knock.
