ill be hunting down my buddies 02' maxipad after i get some mods, he has full catback, headers, and a reflash. oh and his is 6 speed

All maxima's have fairly good performance and the new ones impress me,what impresses me the most is the power the 3.5v6 n/a makes.

yea they are. haha when i had my old focus i was messing with one on the highway and he was clearly faster so i went flying by at about 110 then the next thing i knew he flew past me like i was siting still. had to be doing 125+ and it was like a 94 or something. i was like what the ?????

the thing about 350z's thow. There not made for straight line racing at all there more track cars or drifting cars just like the new gt-r that comes out this year i think it even bet the vett on a track test in car and driver i think which is a hard task on its own

I'm a nissan fanatic, but a car guy at best(I like all cars). I used to own a 2000 maxima. Always wanted an 02/03 maxima 6-speed for practicality and performance. 02/03 6-speeds are the fastest maximas ever made even though they don't have as much horsepower as the new maxi's. Don't underestimate the vq35. They have a ton of torque throughout the powerband

witch one is the vq35?? is that the new one? the new one i raced was pretty stong. i pulled it a little way down low. then he pulled back up even 60-80 mph then i started to creep away after that. pretty F'in fast for N/A

yea its like nissans performance thing. like a saleen for a mustang. i would think with intake and exhaust it would ride out pretty well tho. they seem like pretty healthy breathing cars to began with and put an intake and exhaust on that thing that motor is scraming

WRONG SVT is fords performance department not Saleen. Steve Saleen just uses ford bodies and adds his own stuff.:th_nanana:

The 350Z Nismo has all that cosmetic stuff you mentioned, but it also has some handling stuff too. For one it has more welds on it to make it stiffer, and they weigh a little less too. My dad has one.
