04 GTP - Transmission build started!!



You finished a trans build that you said you'd document. The only thing any of us saw in that post was ..

Look at us take a trans apart in flip flops.
 
Well trans diffy blew up so its pulled... Went to install heads..chipped piston...so working on prepping the new motor and rebuilding the trans again.

You need to swap out that pinion. Which will give you a chance to check your clutches..

A chipped piston too.. hmmm

Good job, most people only kill an engine or trans at a time. :th_king-normal:
 
It would be a great time to take all those pics you never did.

Since you have to take every single effing part out of the trans to fix that. ... just sayin

Gonna tell everyone about how the sungear issue?
