• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

04 GTP Trans Starting to slip

Tried it already. Used the tip of putting a screw driver in the rotor to keep it from spinning. Sprayed some PB Blaster and let it soak for a few hours and then put a 4' pipe on the end of my wrench. Put it this way, I don't think Sears will exchange this screw driver anymore. The axle nut didn't budge at all.
It doesn't seem to be a big deal if I take off all 3 parts in one shot. If I remember correctly, its only the 2 bolts in the bottom of the strut, the 2 bolts for the lower control arm and then the ball joint. Am I overlooking something as to why I shouldn't do it this way.

Seems like a big blob of heavy awkwardness. I'd pop the two strut bolts, ball joint and tie rod end.

Or..have someone stand on the brake pedal.

On that screwdriver...it's satisfaction guaranteed. Most will exchange it.
