04 GTP headlights bouncing and load rear end

Hey everyone, I'm new to this site and searched every where for answers to some issues I'm having with an 04 GTP I bought last month. It only has 53,000 miles on it and it's like new. The headlights bounce while I'm driving, I noticed another thread on this but the suggestions on what to check for didn't help in my case. There is also a loud squeak in the back suspension while going over any kind of bumps. Is this common ? I tried the search at the top of the page with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

The Head lights bounce because GM has switched to a new headlamp holding design. Instead of having 2 10mm bolts, they changed it to a Grand Am design with 2 pull tabs. Well the pull tabs wrap around 2 plastic/rubber pieces in the headlamp assembly. (not rock solid)

GM went on to fix this with a support bar. All newer GP's have it. IT is bolted to the core support, and then to the assembly to counter the shacks....

what kind of squeak? are you able to replicate it just by pushing down really quick on the backend of the car?

Part number is 10388091
Its like $10 on gmpartsdirect.com.

I dont have install directions on the computer though, only printed out.

Took me about an hour to install. They def. do not bounce at all anymore, but i need to readjust one of the headlights because its aimed a little higher than the other one.

The kit basically has a metal arm that replaces the white pull tab. the arm goes in the same slot as the pull tab and goes over and you attach it to the radiator support frame right behind the headlight. Then theres another small tab that you screw into the plastic bracket behind the headlight. You screw the other end of that tab into the metal behind the plastic bracket. Before doing this the plastic bracket wiggled pretty easily, now it doesn't.

Thanks for the info UR Losin. I'll order the headlight kit, as for the loud rear end I pushed on the back with both the bumper and the trunk. It seems the noise is coming from the trunk gaskets or weather stripping. Maybe I could lubricate it some how. Seems strange no one else has heard that.
