title says it all. when temps get below freezing it will act like it dosent want to start. i turn it over and it will act like it wants to start but then stalls. i have to try it three times before it starts but once it dose it will run fine. the front o2 censor is also out, could this have somethin to do with it?
any feedback is appreciated thanks.

ok ill do that when i go to town today, any other suggestions in case this is not the problem? car is 100% stock BTW

Don't always trust if the stores tell you the battery is fine. I've had that happen a couple of times to me. See if a jump start from someone else helps, or better yet borrow a battery out of a buddies GP and hook it up instead.

Does it do the same thing with the maf unhooked? What do you mean by the front o2 sensor is out?

im not sure i havent tried that, and the front o2 sensor needs to be replaced.

and it dosent do this all the time, just when the temp gets to below freezing. it has only done this to me twice.

i just went out and started it, it started fine the first try. i also checked the DIC and it says the battery is at 15.10 volts. any thoughts?

How do you know the o2 is bad? I'm thinking when the o2 is messed up the car goes into either open loop or closed loop i can't remember which but it won't want to start when cold because it won't give it the extra gas that it needs to stay running. Change the o2 and it should be fine.

the check engine light came on the other day and i had autozone run the code. i was also thinking this could be the problem but the only problem i see with your theory is that the first time it did this was before the check engine light came on.

the first time it did it could have been before the light was triggered but the code could have been pending. If you tell us the specfic code we could tell you probably whats wrong.

they didnt tell me the code, they just hooked the scanner to it and it told them the front o2 is bad. if needed i could go back and have them give me the code.

all our cars start in open loop and dont go into closed loop until (dont have my tuner in front of me) around like 100* engine temps...

whens the last time the plugs were changed?checked?

True, but the PCM will still use BLM cells in open loop. Very unlikely that it would cause starting problems though.

Check your fuel pressure. Mine does the same thing. I suspect the fuel pressure regulator. On your 04 it's in the tank on the underside of the canister lid. Problem is no one carries just the regulator for the 04. They want to sell you the whole assembly. Basically when it's cold, or it sits overnight the first start in the morning is rough. I've verified with a fuel pressure gauge that it takes a few key cycles for it to come up to pressure. It did this with my stock pump, and after a 255lph pump with a rewire.
