so heres some pics of what ive been up to a little cleaning installing my new chrome set painting that bottom one on the steering wheel now polished the exhast tips agian and got my pontiac inlay done

okay so those of you who have done a secound temp gauge were did you put the sencor did you remove the old one and put it there

i FINALLY GOT MY MOMS 85 TRANS AM FINALLY ITS MINE. Going to go get it soon i think ill do a build thread on it!!!

to much lighter fluid on the grill and burned my self bad!!!! it back flashed on me i was squirting it on new charcoal and hot coals and it ignited by itself and burned me bad

thank you all for your concern.
so the transmission is slipping bad it is slipping in 1st 2nd and 3rd i was thinking of doing a pan drop and fluid change filter change and lucas i have everything i need to do i could go do it right now but i have had people tell me its going to make it worse because the new fluid will wash the build ups out and cause it to **** out on me in the same amount of time. the fluid is burned up its red brown and smells of burnt toast i have to do something suggestions? i hope to save the money to get the trans rebuilt but its going to have to wait right now

What did you paint the steering wheel controls with? Looks great. Mine look like garbage due to constant use.

steering wheel controls are from an 06 gt but the bottom piece is painted with plastic spray paint int a metallic shiny chrome and then i used this stuff that auto zone has that is like a plastic spray on barrier its really cool stuff and you dont rub through it like a clear coat or something it peals of so clean and nice too
