04 gt interior swap with gtp

I bought an 04 grand Prix GT for $200 Interior was fine but was in a minor front end collision and all the airbags were popped so i found a gtp that had a knocking engine
for another 200 the interior was trashed water everywhere mold on the floor and trash thrown all over the floor but all i needed was the dash and the airbags but i wanted the heads up display and the monsoon system so i just take all the harnesses out put them in the gt swapped the steering wheel with the paddle shifters and finally the dash is installed i go to start it and nothing the dic says starting disabled due to theft system i tried everything to get it to start. after struggling for a couple of months i swapped the GTP computer into the gt and it started but i didn't run correctly i knew it was because the engine was different but i didnt understand why it starts with this computer
but not the original gt computer. keep in mind that i didn't swap the ignition but i have tried them both no luck
I tried everything including swapping the bcm. Does anyone know how to fix this ?

I believe there is a security relearn procedure if you haven't tried that already I would try it with the gt pcm. security relearn can be annoying but the radio could be the cause I snagged a radio out of a junkyard and it wouldn't let me start the car unless I took it to the dealer and got that relearn fixed so you may have to do that. but instead I just got a pioneer with the interface adapter ended up being like $10 more than if I got the dealer to relearn the used radio and IMO the pioneer radio looks better and for some odd reason makes the whole system sound WAY better. much more crisp clean sound. so if I were you I would see if your old radio allows the GT pcm to start and if it does you can keep it that way, relearn the new radio, or get a aftermarket with a good interface (bad interfaces cause problems).

maybe the new pcm needs a crankcase relearn? thats why it runs funny? if you have a tech 2 or a interceptor gauge you can do it thru those sorry im not much help just letting you know what i would do in your shoes
