04 GP turns over no start

O4 GP will turn over but will not start. If you leave it set for a couple hours it will start Service engine light not on. When it wont start, i dont think there is spark. Took plug wire off coil pack and laid screwdriver in engine to check for spark, took plug wire off plug and put screwdriver in it and laid on engine,no spark both times. I can hear fuel pump run with key in on position.
Just got car back from GM mechanic last week and only codes they found was anti theft codes. Car acted fine for one week and now left my son stranded last night.
Any suggestions or ideas?

have it scanned again, security problem will usually let the engine run for 10 seconds or less then stall out.

is the security light on as well, when it was running? or flashing?
