04 drivers seat broke

I just bought an 04 yesterday and the right side of the drivers seat won't move. The left side moves but the other side is stuck. Not sure if its getting power on that side or not. My issue is since I can't get the seat to move forward or backward that I can't get to the rear track bolts to take the seat out.

It's looking like I might have to try and take the seat fabric and lower cushion off to at least unbolt the seat from the track. Maybe this way I can get to the bolts that way. I tried to unhook the seat bottom from the frame with no success. Any tricks to getting the fabric and cushion off in one piece. I bought another seat track from the salvage yard to put in it. Is this the only way to get the seat out of the car.

Any help would be appreciated. I got the seat off the track but still have to figure out how to get the track unbolted from the floor.

Figured it out. Somehow the flexible driveshaft that goes into the right hand running gear assembly was pulled out. Looks like maybe someone went to put something under the seat maybe and pushed on the shaft enough to pull it out. Works like a charm.

Right now taking a break from putting the seat bottom and back brackets back together and bolting to the track assembly. Kind of a big pain in the butt.

i think he reached up and put the drive shaft back in.

once you got the seat out of the car pretty sure it bolts to the lower frame that mounts to the floor.

dealers blow lol used parts rule!!!!!!

I have got an extra drivers frame with motors. Cost $150 from the junk yard. Since the flexible driveshaft for the front motor came out I had to pull the bottom seat pad off in order to gain access to find the problem.

Now that I know what it was I could have fixed it without removing the seat. It was an easy fix once I knew the problem.
