He means the way the stock tank is designed is slightly different now. You can see the difference in the comparison pic. Both are OEM GM, and both fit without issue

So, Red, I took what you said to heart. Bought an Inferno hood and SE lip already painted silver and black, along with black roof rails. Not sure when the hell I'll be able to make the drive to Missouri to pick them up from my aunt's house, but they're mine, lol.

Stumbled on it, guy lived less than an hour from my aunt, I paid a decent price for the lip but I stole the hood and roof rails

we did actually get a g8 on trade in early this week at work just my luck after i couldn't find one somewhat locally that wasn't outrageously priced

Thinking about fiberglassing over the heat extractors by the back of the hood. Too ricey. Just couldn't pass the hood up for what I paid for it
