04+ 6 disc changer...?

I'm picking up an 05 GTP on monday, has all the bells and whistles in it, except it has the normal stereo. If I can get my hands on the stock 6 disc changer, how easy is it to swap em out?

If it's possible, anyone got one up for sale?

It's extremely easy. Just plug and play. But you're gonna be spending $100+ for the dealer to unlock it for you. Go aftermarket and save yourself the headache.

The radio. It's programmed for the car's VIN # it originally came with. So when you put it in your car, the TheftLock is going to activate and render the radio useless until you get it programmed by the dealer to your VIN #. And it can't be done the old fashioned way by pushing a few buttons, getting a code, calling GM, and then getting the unlock code. It has to be done by a dealer (or someone with a Tech2 scanner), and they are going to charge anywhere from $100 to $150 depending on what their cost of one hour of labor is.
