04-08 Key Fob Programming?

So I've been trying a crap tonne of methods for programming GM key fobs and nothing has seemed to work for the GP. The "hold unlock" step of some throw the whole thing out because once you hold the unlock, like many of you know, the trunk pops open.

Anyone have the programming steps? I have two fobs to program for the car.
 




I just was down at the local dealership here in Kamloops British Columbia to get my new key fob set up and the mechanic said that he could not get his gm obd2 code reader to read my door module??? Is that something that happens all the time? I am old school so way out of my league so when the service writer asked me if he could look into it deeper I said no I will look into it and figure it out or just not set up a spare fob for my 2007 Grand Prix. I kinda figured they were looking for more work to do on her.. Yeah, then on the way home I got a message saying I need to redo my tps sensors... Grrrrr... I feel like ripping someone there a new ass@@@@&*..They were going to charge me .5 of an hour $39.00 cdn but because it would not read it they didn't
