03 gtp vs. ?? scion tc

The other day I was gettin on the highway and this stupid scion tc wouldn't leave me the hell alone for like 2 miles. He was on my a** the entire time and even on the giant onramp. So to prove my point just as we left the onramp circle and hit open road I punched it. Now I was watchin my speedo and traffic around me for cops but when I looked up in my mirror I swear he was at least 20 car lengths behind me. I've hated scions since they first came out and officially have NO respect at all for them now. Anyway GTPS RULE!

200hp in a tiny car makes more a good challenge for a stock GP

I don't care much for the xA's/xD's/xB's but the tC isn't too bad for what it is...

LOL yea scion's r terds,my friend beat a slightly modded TRD scion by like 2 cars n his hyundai sonata v6 when he was stock.....nice kill and all GRAND PRIX'S RULE.....

Well I dunno. I never understood the scion thing. I guess I understand cuz they r cheap or whatever but so what. Just somethin about some jacka** rollin around in a car that I beat that bad and still thinkin he's got something just ercks me. Like when someone puts 20s on a nissan altima or all those f ing fart can hondas that we all hate. Why don't they just pick something quick from the get go? Any one else got some good kill stories? Well I don't know about that as I'm sure there are a lot of Vette guys that may ask us GP owners the same question...why not get something fast to begin with. No, I can understand that part. It just seems like there has been a rash of stock tCs that have been picking on GPs and getting their azzes handed to them.

For what they are tCs are nice but I just have yet to see anyone do anything spectacular with them...then again I'm not really hanging out in tC forums either. LOL

This thread reminds me of when i raced one of these. He wouldnt leave me alone at our car hang out spot. The guy kept begging me to race him. I figured he probly had somthing done to it. He said it was stock. So we all went out and I raced him, I atleast put about 3-4 lengths on him.

Like I told my sons, 20% of the cars look great and are really FAST; 30% of the cars look good and are pretty fast and 50% of the cars look great but are stock under the hood. Few people you will meet on the street have the money and time to set up their cars for both great looks and great performance.

Well no that's diff. A vette guy paid 50 grand for his car. At least ours r relatively cheap with good performance. A person goin out to look for a scion isn't lookin for something quick. Just cheap. Besides vette guys r douchbags most of the time.

I think you meant to quote me superv6. But I get that question asked all the time by guys in Mustangs. You can find some older Mustangs for less than what we pay for our GPs, they have V8s, a ton of aftermarket, and are RWD. A far better platform for a "performance" car. And you can even pick up used Vettes for low 20s these days...not all that much more expensive than a brand new tC. So the annalogy holds.
