• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

One more thing before you declare it toast... I have a video that sounds similar, of my GT. The starter gear was bouncing against the flexplate teeth on turns because the starter was worn out. Easy to check by removing the plastic inspection cover. See if the gear flops around loose instead of snapping back when slid by hand. If your sound is up top, yeah toast. That just sounds familiar to me also and it was the starter.

Will definitely check that tomorrow, thanks!! Excited, maybe there is hope.

Found a video on YouTube and it was a quick painless fix. Retapped the threads on the rocker assembly bolt $3 @fastenal $16@AutoZone

Here I am again
But for the record it ran like a champ for 4 months after previous problem solved and now
Codes p0300 p0301 p1811 p0446
Did new wires and plugs
Shop wrote this up on invoice after I took it in for diagnosis:
Runs bad, stalls/dies, codes for misfire engine runs very rough. Data stream info finds cylinder 1 misfire counter misfires every compression stroke. Completed spark verification present and strong completed injector balance test found cylinder 1 equals other injectors. Completed compression test and cylinder 1 reads 30 psi Internal engine malfunction is cause of DTC and poorly running engine. Performed leak down test on cylinder 1 after bringing to TDC and found 50% leak down. With electronic ears found no escaping sound in exhaust or intake. No bubbles in cooling system. Under oil fill cap in front valve cover, airsound escaping heard. Can not accurately determine engine condition as noise heard in rear valve cover area without teardown.

209,000 miles
Not sure what to do next. Is this too many miles for a costly repair? Or is it possible a simple fix? Thoughts? Help appreciated
Wish I had the place or time to do a engine swap. It's the most comfortable car ever and not ready to sell and not get squat and someone else find easy fix.
what to do what to do :/ sorry for rambling
