03+ 4t65 transmission

I don't remember all the year differences to explain it in detail, but I think 98-00 is different from 01-02 and 03+ or something like that.
 
I've broke one in an 04 and one in an 05. The 05 was bone stock, never abused.

If you want a stronger trans, you need to get a built one, or build one yourself. TripleEdgePerformance is a good place to start.
 
97-02 are the same, the trans line connectors are different after 00+ and maybe a minor change in a PCM file for it.

03+ transmission have a different valve body and a hardend 4th gear. The PCM controls the trans different aswell.
 


You can use an 03 trans in a 98-02 car of you use an 03 PCM / trans cal and the trans range switch off a 98-02 trans. No wiring changes needed.
