03-04 Land Rover Headlight Conversion DONE

Street Wolf

First off....

Big thanks to JEFFSGTP and TubbedGTP here on the forums for helping with the conversion otherwise it wouldn't of gotten done. :D

(Copied and Pasted from the Land Rover Forums)

Well today we finally did the task of installing my 03-04 Disco lights in my 2000 Disco. We modified and installed them using the previous existing write up at the beginning and then began to modify things our own way. All in all we have two brackets on each side riveted to the core support and bolted to the top of the headlights, as well as the existing tab mounted on the inner side of the headlight bolted down, and a bolt going into the fender through the tap out the bottom outer edges of the lights. So needless to say it's more than sturdy enough.

The entire install, from turning the truck off to starting it back up took us 6-7 to hours total.

We also reinstalled my HID kit original made for a 9003 bulb into these H7 headlamps as seen below.

Needless to say it was more than worth it. :D

What do you think? Any questions?

SO MUCH BETTER LIGHT OUTPUT...and in the right places I.E. and actual Pattern...not just EVERYWHERE like the other headlights sent lightz.

Very impressive, though it looked like JEFFSGTP did far more work than did you Street Wolf. Is that how you do your friends when they come over and help?

lol...I might have/probably did, but... Chris, Bobby, and I are all pretty good about getting even when it comes to helping each other out. We don't screw each other over.

LOL, in looking back on that post I should have put an LOL or smiley face or something to show I was being jokingly sarcastic. Sorry if I came off the wrong way.

nah you didn't...I thought you probably were...just answered that way in the off chance you were being serious...its all good

Sweet! Nice HIDs. Do you have a set for the GTP yet? I love mine.

Bobby, Jeff, and Chris are all good people. I had a blast down there when we did the tranny install on my car. I need to make another trip down there again one of these days to catch dinner and do something. Great people indeed. Lots of knowledge and know how. I just wished they lived a bit closer to me. As i've always said, if any of you guys come to OKC to do whatever, you're more than welcome to crash at my place.
