02 gtp sluggish at low rpm's

What's up guys! I have a small problem (I hope)! While at low rpm's between 1 1/2 and 2k it starts to jerk but not horribly bad. When I try to go about 25mph is when I noticed it was bad. Soon as I give it more gas it goes away. If anyone has any ideas on what could be causing this pls help! The service engine light is on and it is the o2 sensor and the knock sensor. Could one of these be causing this. I have only had the car for about three weeks and it has been doing it since I got it. Also the service engine soon light comes on for about 100 miles then it will go off for about 20 or 30 then come back on. Pls help!

Ugh oh!!! I have no clue...I drove it to autozone and They just said its the o2 sensor and the knock sensor. But they also told me which bank it was and they were both bank one.

It'll say bank one no matter what we only have 1 upstream o2 and 1 ds so they are both bank 1. If you can find out the code numbers it'll help out.

Ok i just got the codes!!

P0137 o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 2

P0171 bank 1 system lean

P0332 knock sensor bank 2

I sure hope someone can tell me something cause I have no idea what this is lol
Any input will be greatly appreciated
thanks again!!!

So have u ever heard of one of those causing a car to hesitate at low rpm's? I also noticed today that it only hesitates in 1st and 2nd gear at low rpm's. It does fine in 3rd and 4th at low rpm's.

A vacuum leak will definately cause this. I'm stumped on the knock sensor code though. Maybe its just S**t to bed.

Now that I think about it, you said it's been doing this sinse you've had the car. Check to see that someone hasn't unplugged the knock sensor. Bank 2 is on the right side of the motor near the firewall and up under the rear manifold. It's just one wire with a connector.

vacuum leak will definitely cause hesitation.

Knock sensor, bank 2 I believe.

The knock sensor in bank two is not hooked up!!! I found a disconnected wire and figured it was it but it wasn't the right one and I've been searching for the right one but can't seem to find it. Is this something that needs to be fixed ASAP or is it just gonna leave the service engine soon light on? If its not affecting anything I'm going to put it at the bottom of my list. So in order to fix the hesitating at low rpm's I need to be searching for a vacuum leak, correct? Thank you to all that have helped

That knock sensor wire terminates from a bundle that wraps down the back of the motor near the alternator. I think the oil pressure switch wire is very near to it. Follow the oil sensor wire to the bundle and if you don't see a loose wire with a connector then I don't know what to tell you. It might be tucked in behind the rack & pinion.

It looks like someone's been muckin with your motor.

I don't know if the lack of a knock sensor signal forces the PCM to run in limp mode or not. Even so, in limp mode you wouldn't see the hesitation you're getting. Keep looking for the wire and the possible vacuum leak and go from there.

Maybe a tuner will chime in here with an opinion on the knock sensor.
