So, the damn motor is finally in and everything g hooked up.

We hit a few snags a buddy was helping and we boobooed on the front knock sensor, tranny speed sensor and one of the fuel injector (have to guess it's one as it goes to on haha) wires broke, fixed them bad boys up good as new.

All fluids in lots of new gizmos on the car.

Here's the problem.

=£#;#£÷¥!&#738×9!*$?($("($¥}○♡~[○}|♤●¡ pass key 3 I hate the crap.

Tried cranking it, of course security light flashes and nothing, well I do the procedure to disable that crap that's in the owners manual, ligjt doesn't flash anymore, but still has the same simptoms.

Turn key, you can hear a click from fuse panel, but that's it no crank, fuel pump doesn't come on etc.

Do I really have to relearn the key before I can do anything?

double check your grounds on the trans bell housing, where the neg bat cable goes, theres up to 3 more wires grounded there depending on year.

You were absolutely right. There were only two hooked up, key was on and as I was blindly looking for it I found it when it touched metal and everything came to life.

Got that properly grounded and she fires right up.

Aside from the exhaust that still needs fixed she runs amazing.

Haven't gotten on her yet though giving the rebuilt motor some break in time, don't need it blowing already haha.

On to the next one. A 01 grand marq 99k miles motor siezed up

Appreciate the help scottydogs!

I've done many ford motors. Alot easier then this one, this was officially my first gp swap and rebuild. Glad it is done and runs great had a few bumps but it was a good learning experience.
