02 GTP Engine knocking

Hey guys I need help, I just bought a 2002 GTP with 80,000 miles. The oil level is just under full. I was driving just now and then I heard a knocking and squeaking from engine area. Shut off car, I can turn it can on. The knocking or tapping gets louder with higher rpm. I bought this car and test drove it and went good. This is my second day driving it.

post a vid if you can. sounds like the you spun a main bearing or rod bearing.

I was driving normally too. Thanks. I'll find another motor.

Never really matters how you drive it or when you drive or if you drove it on a tuesday with sunshine, when they spin a bearing they spin a bearing. It's always just out of the blue and no real warning at all, which sucks because it always means new motor time.

And another one. Ugh that sucks man. I just spun cyl #1 about 2 months ago. I hate that sound.

I found an engine. Just gotta buy it first.
