i respect everyone's decision, but you have no idea what the hell your talking about, you know nothing about cars, and probably dont even have a real reason not to like ford, they both make great motors and as far as out performing each other they go back and forth, the gt500 is a legend, they already had one go through the auction for 500,000 for charity, and they're expecting the rest to be worth 250,000 in about 20 years, it wasnt made to out perform the corvette, thats like me comparing a camaro to a ford gt, it wouldn't be close and all real car people agree with that, and saying that nothing ford makes can keep up with chevy, name one car chevy makes besides the corvette that will keep up with a gt500, and how many cars period can you name that will out perform a ford gt, 11's in the 1/4 mile 3.3 sec sprint to 60 not too many in the world, you would have to tap well into the exotics to find some that will out run it
 
3.3 were you get that for a ford gt it more like a 3.7 and and GeigerCars.de tuned gts 60ft is only a 3.5. Thats a .4 diffrance between what you said and what is documented so next time you get on here ragging someone make sure your numbers are right. yea the limited produced ford gt out performes a mass produced camaro and trans am but for the price a gt goes for i would rather have a zr1 that is coming out in 09 and its still faster and has a better 60ft then the gt with a 3.0 but hey i dont know anything about cars or it seems to me that you dont know as much as you think you do and to name one car other then the vette um let me think ah yes the viper srt10 o and blowerfish its not that i dont have faith in the 5.0 push rod motors its that i dont like the moduler motors and i think ford made a mistake going with them

looks like i was right you f*ckin idiot look sh*t up before you post, sorry i was off by a .1 of a second, but the magazine i have at home (since i have a subscription to all of them) says 3.3 to 60, and the zr1 has almost the same specs and is not that much cheaper
* 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds
* 0-100 mph in 7.0 seconds
* Quarter-mile elapsed time of 11.3 seconds at 131 mph
* 205 mph top speed

same 0-60 half second faster to 100, .2 faster in the 1/4mile, and only a couple seconds slower in top speed, great numbers very fast but i never doubted the vette it deserves respect, but with numbers like that how the hell can you dis ford, your just talkin, but you dont know what you're talking about, but i rather get a z06 which is the ultimate bang for the buck and twin turbo it, and by the way the viper cant beat the vette or the ford gt dumb a$$

oh yea they made a mistake that cost them to be the number one in their class, sorry but there you go again talkin w/out reason, one of the strongest stock blocks in the world besides the 2jz and the cobra engine, please learn somethin about cars before you post again
 


man im done with this you start calling stupid and saying they dont know anything but that just you showing your iq you dog the vette and say the gt is faster look at the numbers with less horse the 06 vette not even the up to date vette runs right there even with a gt and the viper is not far behind

its just an open discusion. no need to get mad. and by the way the zo6 cost about 75-80k the ford gt is 100k. some rather pay the extra money to get an exotic race car. the point was you said all chevys are more powerfull. well there not. ford makes some pretty powerful motors but just put them in heavy ass cars. whos fault it that? fords. but to say they dont have some good motors is just insane. the lsx motors did step the game up when they came out but the modular motors are right there with them and i think the modulars are stronger. ford has good motors but i think they could do a little better putting them into a car that could perform well with them. good ex. gt 500. awesome and strong motor but the car is a pig when it comes to weight but none the less still a bad car for what it is. this debate could go on for ever, cause its just that, your opion over mine. ford vs chevy. whos better. no need to get upset tho

look you idiot first of all the venom viper is not a production car, second of all where does the nissan fall in with a chevy ford conversation, third the point i was trying to get across was that ford makes good engines too, and is not always behind the 8ball on performance, and i said i believe more than once that i would get a z06 over a ford gt, i think the z06 is the best bang for the buck period, so where did you prove me wrong, and i never said the ford gt was faster than the zr1, and by the way how can you compare an aftermarket car like the venom that does 0 to 200 in 20 sec, to anything, the venom will smoke the bughatti its a fact, so like i said look sh!t up before you post and dont twist around my words, because you know nothing about cars

agreed, but i do have one question, is the ligenfelter really faster than the venom to 200, because when road and track did their shoot out they said that the ligenfelter they had was having problems and could only do one run, oh and by the way, the vette is my favorite sports car, and i think chevy will always kill in that class
 


lol i was wondering when that one was coming, i used to say the same thing to people, but when you're talking about cars that nobody can afford, thats all you got to go off of, and just hope the magazines are telling the truth
