Well we are thinking my sending unit popped off. Cause that's gone. With a 50 yard strip of oil. And dumped my oil and boom goes bottom end

I have replaced 3 sending units on my 2000 GTP (W-Body), and 2 sending units on my 1983 Cutlass Supreme (G-Body) for oil leaks from slow to hemorrhaging. It's crazy. But, I believe it.

That sucks, guess there was really no way of knowing til its too late. Bad design, open circuit should have been low oil pressure instead of closed circuit. My 3800 is on it's 2nd replacement bwd oil pressure switch. When mine went it started as a small puddle, decent puddle next day, and I didn't let it get any worse.
