I had posted a few months ago about my 01 Grand Prix GT wasn't working. Well I've narrowed it down to the power wire that goes from the pos of the batt into the fuse box. for some reason I get very little power or no power at all once the key is in the on position and a lil more when the key is off position. Well I rigged a jumper wire that goes from the pos on the batt to that post going into the fuse box. Jumped the car and sure enough power came on and after awhile of charging, started. Took the wires all off including my rigged jumper wire and it ran fine. hooked the obd II reader to it and this is the code it gave me:
"1 of 1 P0650 MIL control circuit malfunction"
The battery will go dead if I do not do anything with it so I'm not sure where the short is or where that power wire goes to before it leads to the fuse box. Any ideas how I can get this working so I can sell it off???? Thanx
