00 GT wont start...where to go from here?

I'm having an issue with a 00 GT starting. It was top swapped a few years ago and had a rod bearing go out. So I put a L36 back in it and kept it NA. I swapped the map sensor back and wrote a new calibration for a L36. I have fuel pressure (55 #) and have spark. Something I'm curious about is the map kpa is at 170 and won't go any lower. Could this be the issue? I also have not checked compression. But this was a running motor when pulled. It came out of a bonneville are the crank sensors different?

Seeing how 170kpa is like 10 psi of boost, I'd say thats a issue for one.

NA map is of course only going to read from 0-100 kpa.

Crank sensor should be the same.

Is the sercurity light flashing at all aswell, because that can make it not start.

No security lights. That's what I'm thinking too with the lasso high but I checked the wiring & changed the sensor with no luck.

Hate to be that guy... But did you make sure the plug wires are all in the right order? I mixed up a few and my car wouldn't start a few years ago.

yeah i have them in the correct order. I actually replaced the plugs and then double checked them.

New info. We still have pressure at the rail but the injectors dont fire. They literally dont spray anything out when cranking it over. So i replaced the rail and injectors with another set and same results. So i checked the voltage at the injector when the key is on it would be 11v and cranking to 8v. Checked compression and it sits at 180-210. Im at a total loss here.

You should always have power aka positive voltage at the injectors. The pcm toggles the ground to operate them.

Check your ICM connector and crank sensor connectors as well. Unplug your maf and map sensors. Then give it a try. I have seen a map/maf reading keep the pcm from giving the cylinders fuel.

I got it to run. Since the MAP KPA was at 180 ish and i changed out the sensor and checked the wiring and didnt get it to go down, i wired it with the signal and power backwards to get me down to 41 KPA. after i did that the car started right up no problem. So clearly something in the computer disabled the injectors when the KPA is to high or out of table reach.
