  • Sorry to bother I followed your post but im not getting the same results.
    How to add an external range pnp switch to a transmission.
    I'm working on a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville 3.8se
    It has the internal switch. I am trying to add a external to get it to start in park. I've followed the wiring but that's where my problem is your diagram show different wires then mine.
    Your diagram shows
    Red/black To black/white
    Green/white to yellow
    Yellow/black to grey
    Grey/white to white
    In my diagram these colors match the connector inside the transmission but I am trying to wire it from the connector to the transmission the colored wires to the
    f - j connector all match the safety switch wires
    Bw/bw Y/y Gy/gy Wh/wh
    I ran my ground when I try to start it only my 3rd gear light on the dash lights up like it's shorted. I'm pretty sure I'm getting something mixed up. If you wouldn't mind emailing me so I could get this worked out that would be great [email protected]
    I have a question about hpt. I have a 99 gp gtp that i have tuned. I have the tune saved don my laptop. I just bought a 01 regal gs and want to write my tune from my gp to it. Is it possible or do i have to manually copy each section to the GS file after unlocking the computer
    Hi, Bill- it's Bob Cunningham who does tires in Reading. I was supposed to leave Friday morning to bring my old '98 Riviera to my father in Florida who wrecked his car about a month ago. I was supposed to leave early Friday morning, but Thursday night I got a P0341 code. Any chance you might be able to take a look at my car on Friday?     How do u disable security in pcm while tuning I know its disabled in pcm but the drop down menu is set to false and the number is set to 255
    Hi! Just replying to your post regarding the dealers not reaping valve cover gaskets correctly. Idk what state your'e in, but in NC, they're building cheap little shields to go on GTP's, 3.8 v6 supercharged!! I only found 1 dealer 45 minutes away that actually follows GM's instructions & did it correctly, as they got paid to do. I know techs hate warranty/recall work, I was married to one for 8 yrs. so I'm well aware of what goes on in the bays. I'm not being unreasonable @ all, I just wanted my girl repaired up to GM standards, I was polite to everyone I spoke with, but I have a 2 page list of dealers that are taking short cuts. I don't think it's the techs fault, I think management decided on the shield & that's what the techs have to do. Long list short: all vann York dealers are short cutting!!
    Im back and needing advice... Im dropping subframe from 05 gtp and swapping into a 03 mc ss n/a.... Would I run into issues with anything suspension wise... And how do I wire lq4 and n*....
    Hey on my stock GP other then a K&N drop in filter do you think it's beneficial to upgrade my PCM? Or a different mod? I want a little more power but I can't afford to break the bank and from what I've read the upgraded PCM unlocks a lot of things to make the car run better
    So I have a question for you. I am still very new to the world of the L67. I am interested in doing rockers on my car. I have a friend that does portwork professionally so he is doing a set of L67 heads as well as a Gen 3 and Gen 3 LIM. So my question is this, he has a set of LS6 blue and LS6 yellow springs sitting on his shelf. I don't want to waste money on these springs if they are not worth it.

    1. Do you recommend one over the other? Are they a waste of money?

    2. I can't find much information on true gains of modified rockers vs a true roller set.

    Where would you go from here? I have zero intention of doing a cam, I want to try and keep my drivability as is.

    Hey do you know if I will need a tune. I just pulled a trans from a non supercharged regal to put in my supercharged 01 gp. I heard I would need on due to gearing difference.
    Guess my sarcasm training worked...Greg thought I was serious about his car "making a funny noise"... :O
    Hey Bill I was just browsing through your mirror turn signal mod thread and saw that you had an LED light on the underside of your mirror. Thats not stock is it? If it isn't do you have a thread on how to do it or could you at least tell me what you hooked it up to for power?
