    Rear Main Seal Plate

    I had the rear main seal plate off my engine and when I went to put it back on, I noticed that the bolts had hard, almost plastic like stuff at the shoulder of the bolts. I also noticed that the holes in the plate were conical. Is this material just some sort of RTV? :th_scratchhead:
