    I can't figure this one out

    My 2000 gtp cranks and runs for a few seconds and shuts back off. I tried the resistor by-pass with the paper clip. The resistor went up on me many years ago and the by-pass worked. This time it's not helping. It still cranks runs for a few seconds and dies. I don't know what else to check.

    I smell something burning

    Whenever i get on it, even for short burst of speed i smell something burning. It doesn't smoke or anything it's just the smell. I know it has something to do with the motor because it's only when i get up into the higher rpm's. It doesn't smell like smoke. I just can't describe it.

    Front speaker amp ?

    I have some aftermarket speakers rated at 90 rms at 4 ohms. Would an amp rated at 25 rms at 4 ohms be suffient as far as enough power. Or should I get something a little more powerful? This amp is a 2-channel which i'm using only for the fronts. The backs are already hooked up to a 2-channnel amp.
