• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

  • I'd rather not make coilovers. Mainly because I don't feel that I know enough about suspension components to start making my own lol Aren't B&G discontinued too?
Hmm. Well whats the next best readily available springs? As low as possible. Not doin coilovers or bags. Even though I think it'd be absolutely badass
Oh no problem at all man. It's all about priorities so I feel you. But yeah, I was planning on going to you since you're helping me out big time.

And not sure, I just wanted to see when you would be available roughly and kinda hone in on a more specific date once we figured that out.
Well the car has been lowered for a day now. How long do you think it needs before they settle?
how difficult is it to change the valve stem seals on a 2003 GTP? While the engine is still in the car. I just did a rebuild and I think my seals are leaking. The seals were replaced, not sure why they would be leaking.
The car smokes at startup, then after I sit at every light, it smokes at every takeoff. It is consuming motor oil, I had to add oil twice in 400 miles.
Struts are on the way. Springs are on the way. I still have to order the motor mount. Got my spacers from Vinnie. Got my strut mounts. Got pogo washers. Still plan on doin LCA's and tie rod ends yet.
Gathering parts, strut mounts are on the way, im getting motor/trans spacers from Vinnie. Also getting new motor/trans mounts since they're original with 134K on them and I don't want stuff vibrating. Yada yada.
Well I think i'm gonna go with the WBodystore springs. I weighed all the stuff and it come out to roughly 100 pounds. So I put 100 pounds in the trunk and it dropped it half an inch. The wbody's are just under 3 times the resistance so in theory the rear should only drop 1/3rd of that. I figure worst case scenario the rear might drop just over 1/4"...i'll get you some pix for your lowering thread when i'm done.
Ok, so since you insist on lowering(which I completely understand and agree with) the wbodystore rears dont sound bad. They're 1" drop which isn't much but with the extra little bit of weight back there I think it should be fine. They're also 350LB(according to your thread) which is more than any other aftermarket....by quite a lot too. So I think those will be able to support the weight. Then SSC up front? Supposed to be 1.8" drop. What do you think?
    Hi Bio,
I found the winter tires 205/65/16 on my local kijiji, (Michelin X-ICE 205/65 R16 on 16" Winter Rims 5 lug 115mm offset - Edmonton Tires, Rims For Sale - Kijiji Edmonton Canada.), I know this set is not the prefect much but the previous owner claimed he put them on 06 grand prix and it worked totally ok, so I am just wondering whether I should go for it or not? My concern is about the safety, as long as it will cause serious problem, then I don't mind about the appearance.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Bin
