    HD Differential question

    Is there a difference between the GTP and GXP differentials. My GM catalog shows different part numbers for the differentials. The extension housing and internal differential carrier gear are the same part numbers as the GTP, so it would seem you could interchange the differentials? The reason...

    Thought I'd share, not a GP but still a 3800.

    This was my last outing before I installed a a/w intercooler. I have not been back to the track yet. The stock trans does NOT like the current power level. Saving for GMR stuff and Daves goodies. I may make one more go of it, and hope the trans if forgiving for one more night...

    I currently have a stock 99 trans in my car. I am using HP Tuners for data logging and tuning. At wot, my pcs current goes down to .0098 (A), the pcs duty cycle goes downs to 4.3% but the pcs line % never goes above 38%. This is the first I have logged this trans data.
