Ignition Module Dilemna

2004 Grand Prix GT - Ignition modules last 3 months. Changed out 5 times already.
Car just will not start. Cranks but no fire. Replace module and on the road again for 3 months. Repeat.
Tested all circuits leading to plug of ignition module and all external sensors are working. Crank sensor replaced 2 times, but nothing wrong with them. Grounds seem to be ok.

I would give your coils a check and see if any of them are visibly cracked/arching. Fire it up and mist them with some water and see if you notice any spark jumping where it shouldn't be. Best to do this in the dark so you can see the arc better (if there is any). I had a coil crack on my 00 GT and shortly thereafter toasted my ICM. Replaced that coil and the ICM and it's been fine ever since. The coil was cracked on the side near one of the towers. Hard to see when it was dirty and as I was cleaning them off to install my new ICM I happened to notice it.

There is a ground that GM added to the harness in the mid 90's due to high failures based off bad ground. If you look at the end of the head, there should be a black ground right there. Ensure it's hooked and getting a good ground.
