• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Looked at it with all the paper and plastic off. Took a couple pics. Let out a sigh and went to lunch.

swapped a egr valve and a idler pulley. it took no time to swap, till the car ate my ratchet and socket while putting the belt back on. nothing goes smooth, even the easy stuff.

Scott..I stopped losing the ratchet on reinstall after buying the 3 foot belt tool.. It's not because it's easier to install. It's because the car can't eat it as easily.

i left it un attended, i asked for it, really, im not kidding. its not the first time, i know better. at least i got it out.

oh the fun part was both EGR bolts sparked when they broke free lol i thought for sure the stud snapped.

Wouldn't have been an issue. No...it sure as hell wouldn't have been. Cause you would have swapped that whole pedestal.

Now you know why I included it. Cause you are a super human strengthed sasquatch

^ Looks like crap now... but soon...

After spring break i'm putting the bumpers back on and hopefully finishing up that quarter so it looks good enough on either side of the body cladding since you wont see it anyway. Then its off for the last bit of paint and and off to get mechanic stuff done yet... all that stuff is leprechauns and fairy dust to me.... that's why I went into body work

Reverse that for me. Although I know you guys have pullers and welders just like us mechanical guys do.

Should keep this in mind though. Mechanics may cause dings and scratches. It's always best to paint after we've finished.

lol yeah it dint bother me cause i knew i had a whole back up, but then it was still there 2 turns later. you know how it feels, then its still un threading. then you just breath a sigh of relief.

Yea... good point. But I only just found a guy who'd be willing to do it for free otherwise i woulda done it MUCH earlier lol.... well.... for cost of parts and helping him with paint on his neon

Did spark plugs and wires yesterday.. Fronts took about 15 minutes and backs took years... But knock on wood everything is working great :D

Drove it to work, dropped off my wife and parked it then did the same ten hours later in reverse order. I have two large stacks of new parts sitting in the garage and trunk though...maybe this weekend I will put them in. I search for new rims and tires daily.
