I want to change C to F for the engine temps in the Powertuner.

Does anyone know the formula to use?

regals have a e/m (English / metric) button, not so sure about the GP's id think they have a button somewhere. the dic may hold the key.

1* C = 33.8~* F

Pretty sure that is the conversion rate...probably wrong though...lol.

Not familiar with DHP.

In HPT, you'd have to create a custom PID which involves an existing PID, then the manipulations you wish to make such as the one given.

In HPT select your choice of temp. F or C in the settings.

I'm almost 100% sure that DHP has a setting as well if you go into the gauge properties for Temp. Mine is in F and I didn't convert it.

There is no place in PT to change it. You can change the letter to "F" but it doesn;t change the formula automatically.

Is that what you're looking for as far as the editor? If you are scanning I'd suggest not using DHP scanner, instead Uvscan.

Why not DHP? Been using it for years.

Never heard of Uvscan. Do you have a link?

I've always had issues with the dhp scanner, so have others and then UVscan was made. The dhp forum is still down and the copy I have I'm having issues getting it working on a win7 64 laptop, hopefully figure out something here soon.

Powrtuner Cable, using the A/D input for the wideband. There are some docs in there that explain how to create custom PID's or change it to *F
