What upgrades are available for the GT 3800

I look at you guys with the gtp with the goodies and I was wandering if theres anything I can do for my 99 GT 3.8l

What can give more power &
Save gas

(better if not too expensive or even free)

New intake?
Exhaust?

What do you recommend?
 


depends on your goal but if youre looking for really simple bolt ons, then headers intake tuned pcm will give you more oomph.
flip your dogbone bushings too, thats free.
 


Intake, headers (or plog,downpipe), HV3, ER rockers, NGK plugs, wires, poly upper mounts, and a tune. A solid 30-40hp gain at the very least.
 


Ignition system upgrades will make no difference (plugs, coils, wires) stock is more then enough on a n/a 3800, unless your spark plugs are very old then get new ones

its either er rockers or cam not both, cam will make the biggest difference but its a lot more work for only a few more HP so how desperate are you ?
