any idea how to get it out? this what im talking about it were the corssover pipe bolts onto the rear headers. how can i get that bolt up through and out?
yep i mean the stud with no head on it.You mean the stud? I would soak the daylights out of it with PB Blaster for a day or so, then grab it with a vice grip and see if you can back it out. Why do you need to remove the stud?
I haven't looked closely at mine but sometimes the studs have a 6 point head on them at the very tip of the stud that you can stick a socket on and remove the stud. Which usually rounds off and you end up using a vice grip anyways, lol..
so like put on nut on the other and tighten the top one and it will come up?You can double nut it and tighten them together then loosen the stud with the inner nut
Alright thanks man so what ill do is put to nuts onto the bolt and tight them both as hard as possible onto the metal plate that the bolt is in then ill loosen up the inner nut and hopefully it will do what you said it willYup the pressure will be pushing on the outer nut but it won't turn cause its locked to the inner nut so the stud has to give and come loose
Lol didn't try it yetNo problem did it work for ya?
