lowering springs

i been reading a lot on here about springs and one of the springs i want says only for the GTP and i have a GT...will it still fit? i feel like it would and would wheel spacers make a difference in a good way?
 


trust me, you dont want wheel spacers unless your running thinner tires, which would be crazy to do. spacers in my opinion are a waste of money if youre not drive a big lifted truck. and also, look into "coil overs", my buddy has them on his BMW 330ci and they look deadly! much better than lowering springs. and if youre going to do lowering springs or coil overs, you might as well replace the control arms with adjustable ones. if pure ever feeling dope you can give your car a little camber
 
^ em you realize springs are around $200 or less and coilovers are $1300ish. Not budget friendly for a lot of guys and he may not be wanting to go that low and adj control arms are another $500 or so. It's a Grand Prix it won't handle like a Subaru.

Spacers..depends on what your attempting to achieve. I have no problem with a minor spacer to give your wheels a bit more poke but only recommend it if your lowering it. Are you wanting to do it on stock wheels? How much of a spacer are you thinking?

my friend found lowering springs for 250 that will give me a 2in drop...im going with those but is there anything else i should buy that way some parts dont go out as fast?

Check the suspension section there is a sticky with the information you need. Not trying to be that guy but the information is out there and guys have taken the time to put it there to avoid this common questions.
